Imagine the Centro Español building in West Tampa being transformed into a community resource sometime in the future. This is what a class of USF architecture students was asked to do for a special project. The results are thought provoking and worthy of consideration.
Join us on Thursday, June 27 at the offices of the Center for Architecture and Design of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Professor Adriana Pablos Llona will explain the purpose of the special project, the guidance that she gave her students, and depictions of the results of their labors, including ten physical models of the concepts. Adriana is a native of Madrid who has come to appreciate Tampa’s Spanish and other ethnic groups and their architectural and cultural contributions.
Traditional Tampa finger food and beverages will be provided.
Seats are limited. If you plan to attend, please click the RSVP button or email us no later than Wednesday, June 26.
