We shall miss her loyalty, dedication, and lovely demeanor. She will be difficult to replace, but we are now embarked on a search.

Position Description
The duties of the Office Administrator include:
Interaction with Members, Families, and Visitors
Answering telephone calls and taking messages
Retrieving voice mail messages
Greeting members and their families and visitors
Recordkeeping, and Accounting
Recordkeeping: Filing paper and digital documents
Accounting:
Membership dues and maintenance of roster
Posting income and expenses and preparing checks
Interacting with accounting firm
Funeral estimates and subsequent charges
Events Planning and Execution
The Centro plans and holds events, e.g., Club Socials, Galas, Hosting Visiting Dignitaries, Cemetery Day. The OA is expected to assist the BOD in the planning of events. The OA also interacts with the club’s website consultant.
Cemetery Business
The Centro maintains two cemeteries. The OA is expected to maintain records and assist families in planning funerals. This entails interacting with the family, funeral home, the club’s caretaker, and vendors responsible for interment activities.
Special Projects
The Centro undertakes special projects. The projects are varied, e.g., preparing for events; improving cemetery mapping; developing digital story maps; organizing text and photographs; etc.
